Working in the field Welcome to Gwynn Base Camp, Gila National Forest, New Mexico. This was my home four months of the year for five years while I study the endangered Mexican Spotted Owls (Strix occidentalis lucida).

The owl project is long since over. The final report has been printed and I've moved on to other projects with Hubbs.

Below are all my letters from camp. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them. There are plenty of pictures in the photo gallery from my five years in New Mexico.
